Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Todd Tucker's Mother Suffers Fatal Stroke

Miss Sharon died on Tuesday after slipping into a coma while hospitalized.

Television producer and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Todd Tucker lost his mother, Miss Sharon, to a fatal stroke on Monday, December 1 in New York City.

According to TMZ, Kandi Burruss' husband received a call when he was informed of his mother's passing while he was in Atlanta. Sharon Tucker was reportedly unconscious when he eventually arrived at the New York hospital to see her. She later slipped into a coma before passing away a day later on Tuesday, December 2.

Confirming his mother's death, the reality star took to Instagram shortly after her passing to express his sadness: "Today I lost my partner, my ride or die my best friend!" he said captioning a photograph of him and his mother together. "I don't know what to do? I'm lost! My heart hurts so much! She was a fighter, a warrior for her son! It was me and her against the world! She's in a better place!! Mom I love you to death! Rest in peace!"

Miss Sharon will be remembered by viewers of RHOA as a vivacious mother who stood by her son through thick and thin. Though the arguments that ensued between her and Burruss' mother Joyce served as memorable moments of the last season, the depth of Miss Sharon's love for her son was very evident.

Following her death, Tucker's wife Burruss also took to Instagram to share her condolences on the loss of her mother-in-law.

Our thoughts are with Todd, his daughter Kaela, Kandi and their family and friends.
