According to The Chicago Tribune, Lisa Wainwright, Dean of Faculty and Vice President of Academic Administration at the SAIC, said that she knew 'Ye was the perfect candidate after reading an interview where he wished he had attended the institution. Though he did not finish, Yeezy attended Chicago's American Academy of Art. He left to study English at Chicago State University before officially dropping out at 20 to pursue his music career full-time.
