Just before midnight, Kid Cudi released the first track from his latest project 2 Be Continuum, a project with producer Dot Da Genius. The track, “Perfect is the Word,” sets the tone for the entire project, and has a rockier sound than Cudi’s past albums. In response to folks who have decried the new sound, the Cleveland, Ohio-native tweeted: “If you want my old shit, buy my old albums....Im moving forward, all w/ me LETS GO! Life is about evolving, which is why im successful. P&L”
