Suge Knight Claims He’d Slap Anyone Talking Negatively About Oprah Winfrey in Prison

The Death Row Records founder made the revelation on his podcast.

Suge Knight recently made the eye-opening claim that he used to threaten any fellow inmate who would disrespect Oprah Winfrey.

In the fifth episode of “Collect Call with Suge Knight,” the Death Row Records co-founder revealed how he reacted when a fellow inmate spoke negatively of the icon.

“I remember back in the day, doing time, when people said something bad about Oprah Winfrey. S**t, I got in their a**," Knight said at around the 7-minute mark of the episode. "You talking about this Black woman. I fried their s**t up, slapped the s**t out of them—‘Don’t say nothing about this Black sister.’"

Additionally, Knight explained his disappointment over the famed entrepreneur’s decision not to promote Hip-Hop on her show. "At the same time, Oprah wouldn't put rappers on her show, but Oprah promoted ‘Straight Outta Compton,’" he continued. "Even though ‘Straight Outta Compton tried to kill me and had me doing time right now."

It’s the latest revelation Knight has made on his podcast. Previously, he discussed the identity of the woman who helped get Tupac Shakur out of prison during the 1990s, as well as the arrest of in ‘Pac’s murder case, among other topics.
