Andre 3000, Jill Scott, John Legend, and More To Headline Blue Note Jazz Festival Presents: The Black Radio Experience
Blue Note Entertainment Group and Black Radio Productions have announced the star-studded lineup for the Blue Note Jazz Festival Presents: The Black Radio Experience, Billboard reports.
Curated by Robert Glasper and hosted by Sway Calloway, the festival is slated for Aug 30 to Sept 1 at the Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa Valley with Andre 3000, Jill Scott, and John Legend headlining. Andra Day, Common, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Ledisi, Pete Rock, Christian McBride, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and more will also take the stage.
In a statement, Glaper expressed his excitement about the annual music festival.
“Every year our festival in Napa brings a unique vibe, and this year we are bringing you the Black Radio Experience during Labor Day weekend with a dope list of artists for an exclusive hang,” Glasper said in a statement.
Alex Kurland, director of programming of Blue Note added: “This year’s event promises an even more boutique, intimate, and exclusive vibe than ever before, presenting an unparalleled caliber of iconic artists. Robert Glasper’s vision and inspiration shape the talent and tone of the entire experience.”
On June 1, 2011, the inaugural festival was held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City. The Napa Valley Blue Note Jazz Festival was launched at Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena in 2022.
Tickets go on sale Thursday (May 16).
