The seventh season of Basketball Wives LA premiered on Monday night, and the drama definitely wasn't spared.

While some new faces were introduced to the fold, one of the key moments from the episode came from franchise OG Jackie Christie, who had quite the memorable exchange with her therapist, who wasted no time putting her in her place.

For some time now, Jackie Christie's massively strained relationship with her estranged daughter, Ta'Kari Lee, has been the topic of headlines, with the two going back and forth about one another's shortcomings. 

During the premiere, Jackie expressed wanting to reach out to Ta'Kari but explained that she found her "disrespectful, evil and mean." 

While she may have expected her words to be met with a sympathetic response from the therapist, instead, she received some comments that proved to be unbiased, necessary and, above all, real.

"She can't be anything other than the fruit of the tree," the therapist responded.
