Chris Brown Still Under Investigation for Frank Ocean Fight
Chris Brown has a probation hearing today and the court may be revisiting his involvement in a brawl with Frank Ocean.
According to TMZ, the Brown v. Ocean beef that took place in January outside of Westlake Studios (reportedly stemming from an argument over a parking space and resulting in fisticuffs between the singers and their on-hand associates) is still an open case, and the L.A. County D.A.'s Office could decide to prosecute Brown for criminal battery.
The active file, TMZ reported in January, has Ocean as "the victim" given Brown's absence when police arrived.
The "They Don't Know" singer was served with five years of probation for the infamous assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Terms of his probation includes obeying all laws.
Ocean and Rih Rih didn't press charges in either case.
Meanwhile, Brown went back to emphatic tweeting this weekend, posting things like, "Half of y’all hate the skin you’re in. I don’t kiss a-- for covers or respect! When u see me speak up!” and “Be yourself! Acceptance is trivial. When we die, we die alone! Artist worry about their brand. I worry about supporting my family!”
Today also marks the MTV2 premiere of "REDD," the video he directed for the debut single from pop trio U.G.L.Y. (Under Greatness Lies You).
