Kelly Rowland Sets The Record Straight About a Destiny Child’s Reunion
A Destiny’s Child reunion is something that’s been rumored for years now, however considering the 2023 marks the 25th anniversary of their debut LP, the chatter surrounding a tour has gotten a bit louder.
That said, at least one of the famed trio’s members isn’t so keen on such a possibility. During an interview with The Messenger, Kelly Rowland all but put the rumors to rest.
“[With] Bey wrapping up Renaissance and getting ready for her movie, Michelle in the thick of her solo projects that she’s doing, and me in my solo space and all the things that I’m doing, that’s where my head is,” she explained.

Additionally, Rowland acknowledged that “there’s so much energy around DC right now,” but added, “That’s where my heart is. That’s what I’m most excited about, with all due respect to Destiny’s Child. And should there be a space for that, we’ll see what happens. But as for right now, I’m so excited as to what I’m doing.”
Rowland has been very busy as of late. Earlier this year, the 42-year-old guest starred on Grown-ish, starred in two films last year, and will film the next installment in the Merry Liddle Holiday franchise for Lifetime.
