It's not often Young M.A lets her hair down outside of her signature braids, but over the weekend the young "PettyWap" rapper took to the 'gram to show off her natural hair.

Get ready for some hang time that will have you saying, “OOOUUU."

Come thru with the freshly blown out hair! 

Have you ever wondered why the 26-year-old wears braids? According to an interview she did with Glamour in 2017, she chooses to wear them because it's her signature, although she loves to switch it up.

"I do braids often—too much—because when I first came out, that's what I wore. They stuck with me. It was Young M.A, the one with the braids," the Brooklyn native said. 

"Sometimes I switch it up—out, straight, ponytail, braids to the back, braids to the side, sometimes a bun, a poufy bun. I love changing up my hair," she continued.

TBH: With that kind of beautiful hair, why wouldn't you want to switch it up? Just saying.
