AOL to Premiere Journey to The Draft
Have you ever wondered what it would be like for a star football prospect leading up to the NFL Draft?
Well, wonder no more. AOL's new docu-series, Journey to the Draft, premiering April 28th, will follow three college football prospects on their shared paths to accomplishing their dream by playing in the NFL. Hall of Famer Deion Sanders serves as the series' executive producer and narrator.
“Journey to the Draft brings viewers behind the scenes and shows them the emotion and intensity the players experience,“ Dermot McCormack, President of AOL Video and AOL Studios, said in a press release statement sent to BET.com. “Every episode, we will take viewers inside the plays and politics; the locker rooms, press rooms and dorm rooms; like never before.”
The series will follow USC defensive end Leonard Williams, West Virginia wide receiver Kevin White and Washington cornerback Marcus Peters. Each prospect is considered first-round worthy and arguably the best at his respective position entering the 2015 NFL Draft, which will be held in Chicago from April 30th to May 2nd.
Journey to the Draft will release nine episodes on April 28th, followed by a finale on May 6th—all being streamed on journeytothedraft.com.
