Viral Video Of Black Boy Diving Into Deep Water After Being Terrified To Swim Is Inspiring Everyone To Conquer Their Fears
Sometimes in life, we all need a little help conquering our fears. Luckily for us, a young boy by the name of RJ is providing the motivation we all need.
It all started in the summer of 2017 when Instagram user @Hampsworld posted a video of his son RJ, who was terrified to jump off a diving board. In previous posts, @Hampsworld revealed that his son started taking swimming lessons.
In the original video, RJ is seen shaking at the end of the diving board as his swim instructor and his father encouraged him to jump in the water.
The video quickly went viral and was re-shared by many celebrities including DL Hughley and Will Smith, who used a section of the video as part of an inspirational post about taking a leap of faith.

Now, @Hampsworld is sharing RJ’s tremendous progress over the years with an incredible video of him not just jumping, but diving into deep water with no one there to catch him.
Many people thought the video of RJ diving into water and swimming to the wall on his own is exactly the type of inspiration we all need to persevere through adversity.
