Queen Latifah Says She’s ‘Praying Hard’ For Jamie Foxx As He Recovers From Medical Emergency
Hollywood continues to show its support for Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx amid the actor’s recovery from a medical emergency.
Actress and rapper Queen Latifah recently expressed heartfelt sentiments about her "Valentine's Day” co-star. While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, she revealed that she’s “praying hard” for the actor. She also described him as “one of the nicest people that you've ever met.”
“He is secretly behind so many people's success in music, in Hollywood,” said “The Equalizer” star.
Latifah continued her show of admiration adding, “Jamie is a unicorn, and if you aired a whole show on him you'd be surprised how many people had been put on because they came by Jamie's house and they invited him over to play piano or make some beats or make some music."
“I hear so many kind stories about people who tour with him and how he treated them so respectfully and made sure they were all taken care of,” she added
Last April, Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, took to social media to inform fans of her father’s health condition. She noted that the “Ray” star had suffered a medical emergency. But thanks “ to quick action and great care," her famous dad was "on his way to recovery."
The “They Cloned Tyrone” star had been filming his Netflix movie “Back in Action” in Atlanta when he fell ill. The veteran star's road to recovery has included a boat ride — where he was spotted waving to fans. That outing marked his first public appearance since the emergency. He was also recently spotted enjoying a few rounds of golf with friends during a night out.
