Georgia’s Deadline To Register To Vote In Runoff Elections Is Dec. 7
Georgians who wish to vote in the state’s Jan. 5 runoff elections have until Monday (Dec. 7) to get registered, according to election officials.
Mail-in registrations to cast ballots must be postmarked by Monday and online registrations must be completed by 11:59 p.m., in order to qualify. Voters who want to mail their forms in can access them by clicking here. Those who prefer to use the web can click here.
Advanced in-person early voting begins for the runoff Dec. 14.
The runoff will be for the two U.S. Senate seats and will determine control of congress. Democratic challengers Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are vying to defeat Republican incumbent senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue.

Warnock and Loeffler squared off in a debate Sunday night, in which the two traded jabs at each other over multiple subjects from the presidential election to their past records. Meanwhile Ossoff showed up to his debate, but his opponent Perdue did not.
