‘Tyler Perry's The Oval:’ Five Reasons Why Victoria Won’t Stay in Jail
Last week’s episode of The Oval ended with Hunter asking his new secret service agents to arrest Victoria and Eli for the attempted assassination of the president of the United States. That’s a valid charge and exactly what Victoria and Eli tried to do, but Victoria is so well-versed in cunning and dastardly behavior that we already know she won’t go down without a fight. She’s an excellent villain, so her time wouldn’t be served well in jail, where we all know she won’t be for long. Here are five reasons why Victoria probably won’t do any prison time.
She Knows Too Much
If she goes down, then Hunter and probably Donald and everyone else around them go down. Everyone is dirty, so Victoria can lean into the secrets she has and unleash a Pandora’s box of blackmail.
Her Evil is Entertaining
Victoria being in jail would not serve us viewers. She’s so ridiculously wicked that she needs to be out terrorizing that fictional world for our entertainment.
Hunter Would be Lost Without Her
Granted, Hunter isn’t stupid and probably capable of a lot, but Victoria’s family played a major role in helping him become the man he is today. Without their backing, Hunter probably wouldn’t have coped as well with the life of villainy he chose. You see how he can’t stay off the drugs and women, so without guidance, he’d waste his time on vices.
She’s Connected
It has been insinuated that Victoria’s parents, especially her father, are well connected, and whatever Victoria’s parents are into helped Hunter become president. Assuming that they rigged the election, it’s safe to say they have enough pull to help fake clear Victoria’s name.
She’s Smart Enough to Get Out of it
Victoria might not even need her family to help her stand on business. Many people don’t like her, but she’s cunning and can figure out new allegiances that would be ideal for maintaining her freedom.
