Rapper DDG Faces Misdemeanor Weapons Charges Stemming From June Arrest
A Los Angeles city attorney has decided to pursue charges against “Elon Musk” rapper DDG that stemmed from his June arrest.
According to TMZ, court documents revealed that he faces three counts total– one count for carrying a loaded weapon, one account for possessing a concealed weapon and a count of reckless driving. The charges are considered to be misdemeanors.
If DDG is convicted, he could serve two years in jail for the weapons charge and 90 days in lockup for reckless driving.
The "Moonwalking in Calabasas" rapper escaped charges from the Los Angeles district attorney’s office.
BET.com reported that DDG was arrested while driving a Lamborghini in Los Angeles in June. Upon LAPD pulling the vehicle over, a search was executed, and officers found a gun in the expensive whip. The Michigan native, linked to The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey, posted a $35,000 bond.
