Future and Ciara are still far from reaching a resolution in their ongoing legal battle.

Fresh off her marriage with Russell Wilson, CiCi came forward earlier this summer with a new allegation against her ex, saying that because of his slandering words she lost out on a lucrative business deal, costing her half a million dollars.

Future has now addressed the claim and wants that component of her lawsuit to be dismissed immediately.

In an update provided by TMZ, the rapper believes that Ciara claiming he was to blame for this business offer falling though is utter nonsense.

In new documents submitted to the court, Future fires back saying that Ciara has no legitimate proof the deal fell apart or that the opportunity was lost directly because of his actions. Additionally, he points out that she hasn’t even pointed out the company by name, further allowing him to believe the whole thing is a scam against him.

The $15 million lawsuit for defamation is still pending, but Future is asking the judge to consider dropping Ciara's latest claim from the case.
