FKA twigs can do everything. She’s a musician, a dancer, a director, an artist, a fashion icon and quite possibly an alien from another, much cooler dimension. And if you’ve ever watched her dance, you know that she’s a world class athlete as well. So it’s exciting to see her innate athleticism and strength honored through a partnership with Nike.

Twigs is both a face and the creative director of the sports giant’s new campaign for its Zonal strength tights. According to Nike, the tights are designed to “[target] key  muscle groups to reduce muscle vibration for an efficient workout, without restricting mobility.” Perfect for dance.

In addition to conceptualizing the entire campaign, FKA twigs both directed and performs in a video called “do you believe in more?,” for which she also composed a new song, “Trust in Me” (written in collaboration with electronic band Oneohtrix Point Never). The ads feature athletes, including runner English Gardner, fencer Miles Chamley-Watson and dancer Saskia Horton, and they stay true to twigs’s powerful, witchy vibes. 

In an open letter, twigs wrote about getting her dance career started. “’Do you believe in more?’ refers to a girl who grew up looking different from everybody else around me,” she wrote. “Who wanted to do things no one else wanted to do in a small town, who didn't grow up with lots of money, but just had so much determination and hope inside herself. I wanted to do more with my life. I wanted to do everything.”
