Halle Bailey has opened up to fans, sharing more intimate details about her closely guarded pregnancy. 

During a recent Instagram Live with Baby Halo, Halle recalled the first person she had told about the pregnancy: her sister Chlöe. “So, funny story, Chlöe was the first person that I called,” the “Little Mermaid” actress said as she rocked the 8-month-old to sleep. “I think she didn’t believe me. She thought I was joking when I told her.” 

The “Have Mercy” singer agreed with Halle adding, “I was so excited because, you know, he’s like my baby as well. And I just really, really love him. He just makes me so happy, I can’t explain it.” 

Halle also revealed that her family used to joke she’d be the first to get married and have kids, given how often she talked about wanting a family. Chlöe then responded, “I think he’s like the greatest blessing. So, I’m happy. He’s like a little addition. He’s made our life more fun for sure.”

Halle and her boyfriend, DDG, welcomed their first child together late last year. "Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son," Halle wrote in an Instagram post announcing Halo's birth in January 2024. "Welcome to the world my Halo. The world is desperate to know you."
