Halle Bailey Celebrates Her First Mother’s Day With A Tribute And Ink
Halle Bailey celebrated her first Mother’s Day by honoring her son, Halo, and getting a tattoo of his name on her wrist. The “Little Mermaid” actress shared on her Instagram stories that she’d gotten her first tattoo to commemorate becoming a mother to her son, Halo. His name is written in red cursive on the inside of her wrist with a halo cocked over the “o.”
And that’s not all. Bailey gifted fans an intimate tribute video to Halo and shared some of their most private moments. The compilation shows Bailey at the hospital after giving birth, and for the lip-readers, you can see Bailey say something very new mom-like, about needing to use the bathroom. It’s hilarious and relatable to anyone who’s ever given birth.
Bailey kept her pregnancy on a need-to-know basis and decided that the public didn’t need to know. She was fiercely private and protective of the little bun she was baking. This need for privacy often led people to speculate about Bailey's pregnancy and comment on her body. Bailey graciously avoided speculation and announced baby Halo at the top of 2024 in her own time.
She and her boyfriend DDG can be seen in the video doting over Halo and reveling in their new, growing family. Halle captioned the sweet video, “My first mother’s day ♥️ the greatest love I’ve ever known.”
