The Miami duo gave a standout performance.

Miami duo City Girls electrified the “BET Hip Hop Awards" 2023 stage this year with another electrifying performance for the books.

JT set the tone with her latest single, “No Bars,” letting her lyrical prowess take center stage. Shortly after, she was joined by Yung Miami for a performance of their single “Face Down.” The ladies exuded confidence and style, donning edgy all-black leather ensembles that perfectly complemented their high-energy, must-see performance.

Yung Miami delivered  and received this year’s ceremony, taking home the “Best Hip Hop” award for her YouTube talk show series “Caresha Please.” The interview-style discussion finds Yung Miami engaging in raw and unfiltered conversations with her friends and peers across the industry.

The ladies put rumors of a potential City Girls’ separation to bed this summer with the release of their “Act Bad” collaboration with Diddy and Fabolous. The duo are reportedly currently working on their unnamed third studio album. They gave fans a preview of what’s to come with recently with their latest single, “I Need a Thug.” The song features LL Cool J's classic record, “I Need Love.”
