Hit-Boy’s Son Records His First Song
As the saying goes, “Like father, like son.”
Grammy Award-winning producer Hit-Boy is a proud father as his son is following in his footsteps with the recording of his first song, Hip HopDX reports.
C3, who recently celebrated his fourth birthday, was captured along with family and friends for a video shoot of his solo performance.
Commenting on the footage, Hit-Boy said, “The real empire no lucious like @bighit say.”
Already experienced in the game, C3 previously appeared on Hit and Nas‘ track “Once A Man, Twice A Child.” as a 2-year-old from their collaborative album “King Diesesae III.”
Taking to Instagram, Hit-Boy shared the incredible moment of making music with his son.
“I was in dad mode daily during the recording of KD3 so much so my 2-year-old son C3 got his first production credit on the album (that’s his voice on once a man twice a child). He might be in the background of a couple of other joints too 😂❤️. Big Love and appreciation @Nas !!,” his post read at the time.
In addition to his son, Hit-Boy has also recorded with his father Big Hit on “The Truth Is In My Eyes”, in December. On his IG, he explained the long journey
“Big Hit has spent about 30 years of his life on the inside and I still never looked at him as anything other than my dad he’s himself at all times and it’s no cut on how he moves, love it, or hate it. this time feels different for me personally I'm a lot more mature and I know who I am so as a man I can hear him out and also be a leader for him in my own right,” Hit-Boy wrote.
“It’s a lot of pressure but it’s also therapy for both of us I would say. 9 pm PST tonight we’re dropping his DEBUT album "The Truth Is In My Eyes" and i couldn’t be more proud of this moment,” he continued. “Most people wait til their family die to honor them in this way but we doing right here right now while we ALIVE.”
