Snoop Dogg Provides Advice For Hit-Boy’s Father Ahead Of His Album Release
Snoop Dogg is providing some O.G. advice for the O.G. of one of Hip-Hop’s best producers.
On Monday (Dec. 4), Hit-Boy shared via social media a clip of Tha Doggfather on a phone call with his dad Big Hit. During the call, Snoop lays down some “rules and regulations” for him.
“As a father, your job is to mentor and give him information where one day, your son can teach you,” Snoop began. “You in a position now to be taught. That n***a can teach you how to stay out, how to get money, how to be the dope-ass rapper that you are.”

Hit-Boy reiterated this theme in his caption: “This is the FIRST TIME ever in music you’ve seen a role reversal of this proportion. I’m helping my dad do something constructive with his time and giving him an outlet to express himself in a creative manner through music.”
Big Hit began his rap career last spring after serving nine years in state prison for a hit-and-run. His son, who has produced for some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop, revealed that the upcoming project is titled “The Truth Is In My Eyes” and was recorded independently.
