Makeup artist Patrick Starrr just transformed Karrueche Tran into our favorite Disney princess, Tiana, and we are in complete awe. 

Using new products from the Disney x Colour Pop makeup collection, the 27-minute long video showcases the 30-year-old Vietnamese/African-American actress being transformed into royalty right in front of our eyes, and the results are flawless, although it does not come without controversy. 

ICYMI: It was just last week when the voice behind Princess Tiana, Anika Noni Rose, came in to save the day after fans were outraged that Disney decided to white-wash Princess Tiana's brown skin and overall African-American likeness for the upcoming Wreck-It Ralph 2 film.

Quickly putting a call out to the studio, Anika encouraged Disney to return the first Black Princess back to her original #BlackGirlMagic. Which they did!

While Karrueche looks amazing, many are wondering why a woman with a darker shade of melanin was not chosen for the transformation, especially in light of the controversy. 

TBH: We are not sure what the particulars are when it comes to the process of selecting the celebrity being used for the tutorial, but as you can see, it surely has some confused  and others wondering why it's such a big deal.
