New Music: Pusha T Testifies on "My God"
While his brother Malice is the one that was transformed by a spirtual awakening, Pusha T has come forth with a testimonial of his own. The Clipse rapper recently dropped his new single "My God," the first from his upcoming solo mixtape, Fear of God, via his new official website, pusha-t.com.
The track was produced by Hit-Boy, but has the feel of the triumphant, gritty blues bangers No I.D. has made for Jay-Z in recent years, such as "Success" and "D.O.A."
"There'll be no waitin', I have no patience / This is the end for all my unrecognized greatness... This the new God flow, ain't it? / The Last Supper for you ni**as, now repainted," Pusha raps.
Fear of God is Pusha-T's debut release as a member of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint. The hotly anticipated mixtape was expected late last year, but got rescheduled in the service of a new release strategy at the label.
