Congrats are in order for tennis legend Serena Williams and her fiance Alexis Ohanian. The power couple recently welcomed their first child together, a bouncing 6 lb., 13 oz. baby girl. The irony surrounding the baby’s delivery is a match made in tennis heaven.

Ohanian revealed that Serena, who was pregnant when she won the Australian open, was convinced that her success on the tennis court confirmed that she was carrying a baby girl. To put the icing on the cake, the new baby’s birth was announced by her aunt, Venus Williamsmoments before she hit the court at the U.S. Open.

News of the baby’s arrival spread like wildfire and even garnered congratulatory wishes from Serena’s close friend, fellow legend and new mom, Beyoncé.
