Wiz Khalifa Misses His Ex, But it Might Be Too Late
Wiz Khalifa misses Amber Rose, but it might be too late. Khalifa spits a somber and candid verse about his marriage falling apart on Rico Love’s, “Somebody Else “ remix featuring Usher. TMZ leaked a snippet of the new song a few hours after it was reported Rose has started a relationship with rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
“Thought I had it, all the magic I couldn't imagine/Then it all went tragic, automatically, I'm the bad one,” rhymes the 27-year-old without naming names. Khalifa refers to the Rose relationship with a mention of matrimony and parenthood. “Gave you everything, a kid and a house, and a wedding ring/And now you talking ‘bout you can do better things.”

In another line, he misses their time together. If art is imitating life here, he hasn’t quite healed from the split. He raps, “That empty seat girl you used to be with me on the plane/An empty whole in my heart, will I ever love again?”
Khalifa’s open-hearted verse is different than Usher, who divorced, Tameka Raymond in 2009, and is now engaged. Usher’s lyrics are about wishing his ex “finds somebody else,” because he’s tired of dealing with the drama. “She’s all about the commotion, I swear she got a heart of stone.”
