Sean Kingston Tweets Recovery
It looks like Sean Kingston is closer to a full recovery.
The "Beautiful Girls" singer tweeted a few words to his fans on Sunday (June 19) as well as a photo of himself sitting upright.
"Feeling a lot better! GOD IS GREAT!" Kingston wrote on the social networking site. "Thanks for all the prayers and support! Love you ALL!"
The Miami-born Jamaica-raised performer was rushed to a Miami hospital Memorial Day weekend after crashing his jet ski into a bridge. The crash was so bad that Kingston was reportedly treated in the trauma ward initially before being sent to ICU.
Sean Kingston was accompanied by longtime friend Cassandra Sanchez at the time of the accident. In the days after the incident Sanchez, who escaped the accident with minor injuries, shed light on what happened. She said that she spotted the low clearance of the bridge and called out to warn Kingston, who was navigating, "We can't fit under there! Are we going to try and go under there? Sean, stop!" The next thing the 23-year-old woman remembers is waking up in the water. Sanchez woke up in pain but Kingston was much worse: "[Sean] was coughing up blood, foam and pink stuff."
