Lil Wayne and Birdman are Officially Putting an End to Their Beef
Time heals all wounds and that’s no different when it comes to Lil Wayne and Birdman. The two were seen pictured together on New Years Eve and it seemed to indicate that a path to positive reconciliation was being set.
Now, the beef-squashing is even more official as the two partied together at LIV Nightclub in Miami last night (January 17) and announced some news. Posted up next to Weezy, Baby dropped the bomb everyone had been waiting for – officially announcing an end to the long-standing and ugly beef between the two.
"This my motherf***ing son and Ima die for him," he said to the crowd in numerous videos that captured the event. "Ima live for him and Ima motherf***ing kill for him. Ya hear me? That ain't never gonna change, f*cker. It's YMCMB for life."
The beef between the two had gotten so serious over the past year that Birdman was named in an indictment for conspiring with Young Thug to kill Wayne after his tour bus was shot up in April. Last January saw Lil Wayne filing a $51 million lawsuit against Birdman and YMCMB for delaying Tha Carter V’s release. Numerous other instances also seemed to cement the demise of their relationship, but apparently blood is thicker than lawsuits and bullets, and father will always love son.
