Jay-Z Says Rumored Blue Ivy Carter Poem Is a Fake

The rap mogul debunks story claiming he wrote a poem to his daughter vowing never to use the word “b*tch” again.

Yesterday Beyoncé deflected false rumors about her post-baby activities, and now it's Jay-Z's turn. The Roc Nation head honcho has flatly denied reports that he wrote a poem for newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter, in which he allegedly swore off usage of the B-word.
"That poem and story are fake" Jay said to the New York Daily News.
Several online publications wrote about the apocryphal poem after the blogger Perez Hilton posted it on his website and declared "Jay-Z Swears Off 'B*tch' for Blue Ivy!"
Jay-Z's true reaction to his daughter's birth has already been immortalized on the song "Glory," which he posted to his website last week.
Last night Jay took a brief leave of absence from Blue and Beyoncé's bedside for the grand re-opening of his lavish Manhattan hotspot, the 40/40 club. While Bey herself had been rumored to attend, the new mom stayed home instead.
