The worst-kept secret from tonight's MTV Video Music Awards is finally official. Beyoncé will indeed be performing at the show, MTV announced via Instagram just moments ago.

The Queen herself just walked the red carpet with her crew of women from LEMONADE, as well as her gorgeous daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

MTV's official Instagram page released the news in a not-so-subtle way by posting an image of the iconic songstress with her oft-used lemon emoji.

Even before the official announcement, fans were buzzing with excitement after Bey's head body guard, Julius De Boer, was seen scoping the red carpet house before the awards show began. 

Just moments ago, Julius walked down the red carpet with his boss and her daughter Blue Ivy in tow. We can be sure that the fans, and the paparazzi lost their collective minds.

Still, little is known about the nature of her performance, but given her track record, we can be sure that it will be nothing short of breathtaking.

To catch Beyoncé in all her glory tune in to the VMAs, the preshow beings at 8pm, with the main event kicking off at 9.
