The Wu-Tang Clan To Release A Lullaby Album
Recently, child friendly music company RockabyeBaby! announced it would be partnering up with the fellas of The Wu-Tang Clan to release an infant-friendly album.
According to Pitchfork, The project, called Lullaby Renditions of Wu-Tang Clan, will include a collection of instrumental lullabies inspired by the legendary Staten Island rap group. While the official track-list for Lullaby Renditions of Wu-Tang Clan has yet to be released, kid-friendly versions of their hit single "C.R.E.A.M" and "Method Man" are said to have made the project's final cut.
Back in 2017, The Wu released their last album to date, The Saga Continues, while most recently, founder RZA partnered with Tazo Tea to release a five-track meditation EP entitled Guided Explorations.
This isn't Rockabyebaby!'s first time collaborating with hip hop artists either. Back in December of 2019, the music label collaborated with rapper Snoop Dogg for Lullaby Renditions of Snoop Dogg, a 12-track project which featured some of the West coast icon's classic hits, including “Gin and Juice,” “Sensual Seduction,” “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” and many more.Lullaby Renditions of Wu-Tang Clan's vinyl copy will drop on April 18, which is also National Record Store Day.
