Miguel Apologizes for DUI
How many drinks does it take to get Miguel to apologize? The singer (née Miguel Pimentel) made a court appearance last week for his August 2013 DUI bust, reports Billboard, and he admitted that he was wrong for driving around like that.
"Driving with alcohol in my system was reckless," he told the judge. "I'm really sorry and I'm taking responsibility for this mistake." He pled no contest.
Officers arrested the 28-year-old in L.A. last year after he failed multiple sobriety tests, coming in at .10 and .11, when the legal limit is .08.
Part of the responsibility he's taking on is an informal probation for three years, an alcohol education course, and a $360 fine.
