Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Takes Center Stage as Richard Mille's Brand Ambassador

This is her first non-apparel endorsement outside Jamaica.

Jamaican-born track-and-field sensation Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has recently entered into a prestigious partnership with the luxury watch brand Richard Mille, solidifying her position as the newest brand ambassador for the renowned company.

In a post on Instagram, the 36-year-old sprinting star shared her excitement about teaming up with Mille. She's eager to win more medals at the 2024 Olympics in Paris and plans to wear the impressive RM 07-04 Automatic Sport watch while aiming for success in international competitions.

Emphasizing the significance of the collaboration, Complex UK cited Fraser-Pryce saying, “It’s about pushing barriers. People have always told me what I could or couldn’t do, [so] I wanted to be part of a brand that knows about timing, where age doesn’t limit your progress. At the end of the day, we have the same vision as it pertains to our legacy. What we want to achieve is timeless.”

Richard Mille himself lauded Fraser-Pryce's exceptional qualities, remarking, “She is a strong woman who combines sprinting with being a mother. As if that wasn’t already enough, she finds the energy for her charity work, and this all-round commitment totally reflects our values.”

Known for crafting high-end timepieces, the Swiss watch company has a tradition of aligning with elite athletes, and Fraser-Pryce now joins an illustrious group of track-and-field stars associated with the brand. This exclusive roster includes Qatari track and field athlete Mutaaz Barshim, Belgian Olympic and world champion heptathlon Nafissatou Thiam, and South African sprinters Akani Simbine and Wayde van Niekerk

The Jamaican star boasts an impressive track record, earning Olympic gold in the 100m at Beijing 2008 and London 2012, along with a bronze in Rio De Janeiro 2016. Her World Championships triumphs include gold in the 100m at Berlin 2009 and Moscow 2013, where she achieved a remarkable double gold by also winning the 200m. Fraser-Pryce's stellar performances underscore her standing as a top-tier sprinter on the global stage.
