Tiger Woods’ Niece Wins Golf Tournament

Tiger Woods’ niece Cheyenne won the ACC women's individual title by seven shots after finishing a career-best 5 under par.

Though Tiger Woods may not be winning, the Tiger blood is still going strong. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

Sunday, Woods’ niece Cheyenne won the ACC women's individual title by seven shots after finishing a career-best 5 under par.

It was Cheyenne Woods’ first ACC title, and she's the third straight Wake Forest University golfer to win the individual championship.

"I really felt confident this week," Woods told wakeforestsports.com. "I was hitting the ball well in practice coming in, and especially today, I was able to hit the ball where I wanted. That was key because these greens are really slick and you needed to hit the ball in the right spots."

Her famous uncle, who hasn’t won a tournament since 2009, congratulated her on Twitter. “My niece, Cheyenne, just won the ACC golf title by 7 shots! That's awesome, I'm so proud of her,” he wrote.
