Michelle Obama Debuts New Twitter Account and New Hairstyle
Thursday might have been her birthday, but the public was the one receiving treats from Michelle Obama. The first lady rang in her 49th birthday by debuting a new Twitter account under the handle @FLOTUS. Her former account, @MichelleObama, will now be managed by the Democratic National Committee. FLOTUS' office will share updates and photos with Michelle Obama signing off as "–mo" when a tweet comes directly from her.
The second surprise was shared through Twitter as well as the office's second tweet featured a photo of FLOTUS sporting a new hairstyle — with bangs!
"The First Lady just met with Inaugural citizen co-chair David Hall ahead of #MLKDAY of Service,” her office wrote with the photo of Obama wearing a red knitted dress and her hair in a cute bob with bangs.
