Dwyane Wade Is Now a Harvard Man
You can keep referring to Dwyane Wade as a three-time NBA champion...just don't forget Harvard graduate.
The NBA star for the Miami Heat completed Harvard's "The Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports" four-day executive course on Saturday alongside New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
"Big Business minus the Business suit..2015 Harvard Business School Grad," Wade wrote in one Instagram post accompanied by a photo of him rocking a hoodie and showing a lecture-hall plaque with his name at Harvard.
Wade was so focused on passing the course that he took a break from his ABC NBA analyst gig during Game 4 and 5 of the Finals. He'll be back to provide analysis for the Finals during Game 6 on Tuesday night in Cleveland.
Maybe that extra sports business knowledge will come in handy for Wade if he opts out of his Heat contract and becomes a free agent this summer.
This news comes just a few days after Carmelo Anthony stepped outside of his comfort zone of basketball, announcing that he has purchased the Puerto Rico FC soccer team.
