There wouldn’t be Drake without Aubrey. Some new footage from back in the day has recently surfaced to help remind us of that undeniable fact.

While we all know Drake’s background in acting helped to lead him where he is today in music, every now and then some recordings from the archives find their way into our lives and they are always absolutely worth celebrating. 

The latest video clip making the rounds online from Drizzy’s past as an actor is an absolute gem.

This possibly embarrassing (but definitely priceless) clip comes from an improv gig at Toronto’s Rivoli that Drizzy did years and years ago. The skit features a “choose your own adventure” type of plot, with members in the audience yelling out suggestions to guide the two actors.

The outcome? A young Drake hitting on a woman at the gym, only to reveal that he is gay. And then somehow a freestyled country song finds its way into the mix.

Needless to say, you’re going to have to watch this one for yourself. It’s just too good.
