Country music icon Dolly Parton has revealed that Beyoncé may have covered one of her legendary songs for her upcoming album, “Cowboy Carter," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In an interview with Knox News, Parton hinted that “Queen Bey” may have put her spin on one of her signature songs on the highly anticipated LP.

“I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about,” Parton said.

She went on to express her admiration for the 32-time Grammy winner.

“I love her!” Parton said. “She’s a beautiful girl and a great singer.”

Beyoncé’s ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ Takes the Number One Spot On Billboard Hot 100

Parton had publicly shared her support for Bey since she announced she would enter the country genre during the 2024 Super Bowl.

I’m a big fan of Beyoncé and very excited that she’s done a country album,” Parton said in a statement on Instagram. “So congratulations on your Billboard Hot Country number one single. Can’t wait to hear the full album!”

“Texas Hold ‘Em,” her first foray into country music, landed at the number one spot on the Billboard 100 chart in February. The song became Beyoncé’s ninth number-one hit and her first since “Break My Soul” topped the chart in 2022. She is the first Black woman to have a country song to top the Hot 100.

“Cowboy Carter" is set to be released on March 29.

The highly anticipated LP is currently available for pre-order.
