The rumor mill continues to churn new names to star in director Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti Western, Django Unchained. The film tells the story of an escaped American slave who seeks vengeance on his cruel master. Roger Friedman of Showbiz 411 claims Jamie Foxx’ name has been mentioned as a potential star of the film.

Previously, Will Smith was discussed as the desired star of the movie. Then came chatter that actor Idris Elba might be up for the part. Friedman now says that Foxx’ attachment is a possibility. Friedman writes, “It’s good news for Jamie Foxx, who’s let his music career overtake his film side. Leonard DiCaprio is reportedly to be in talks to play the cruel slave master.
