George Clinton always brings great insight to a conversation (or interview) and during a recent one, he dropped some interesting info.

Speaking with Pigeons and Planes, the man of many talents revealed that he and Kendrick Lamar recorded numerous songs together outside of the ones that have already been released, but says he’s not sure where they went.

“I did two or three other ones with him when we were recording, but I don’t know what’s going to happen to them,” he relayed. “We just worked on a video with Ice Cube for ‘Ain’t That Funkin’…’ that’ll be out soon. It’s going be very interesting for people to see it.”

Clinton recalled recording “Wesley’s Theory” from K Dot’s To Pimp A Butterfly as well and interestingly stated that some of the music recorded for Kendrick’s untitled unmastered album was meant for Parliament Funkadelic.

“When I did ‘Wesley’s Theory’ we did a trade off,” Clinton explained. “The first verse on ‘untitled 08 | 09.06.2014′ was originally written for my song with Louie Vega, ‘Ain’t That Funkin Kinda Hard On You?’”
