Black Twitter Reacts To Burna Boy's Sold-Out Madison Square Garden Show
Burna Boy took over Madison Square Garden with a sold-out show on Thursday (April 28) making history by becoming the first Nigerian musician to ever headline the famous venue. Dubbed the “African Giant” by his fans, the house was definitely rocking for Burna Boy’s highly anticipated “One Night In Space” show.
The Grammy-nominated artist also brought out special guests Busta Rhymes and Youssou N’Dour during his set which had the crowd full of energy all night.
While some fans weren't lucky to be in the presence of Burna, many tuned into the livestream on YouTube whilst adding their comments to Twitter to react to the historic New York City performance.
Burna also reacted to his epic night taking in the moment for what it was before hitting the stage writing:
“The Journey in NY has been a blessing. PlayStation theatre in 2017, Gramercy theatre in 2018, The Apollo in 2019 and Today 2022 we are in MADISON SQUARE GARDEN,” he shared on Twitter.
In true Black Twitter fashion, fans’ responses to the show went viral. See some of the best reactions below:
Giving the people even more than they could ask for, Burna also previewed a new song off of his new album Love Damini, which is currently available for pre-save on your choice of music streaming platforms here and will be ready for sale to download later on this year.
