Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss Mom Says She ‘Almost Called’ Him To Compliment About Gap Campaign
Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ mom recently shared on her Instagram that she “almost called” her late son to compliment him on his new Gap campaign, which was released more than a month after he died by suicide on Dec. 13, 2022.
On Tuesday (Jan. 31), Connie Boss Alexander captioned a portion of the clothing ad in her Instagram stories and said “I almost called you to say son look at you in this ad! Then I remembered 💔. My heart…,” according to Page Six.
Gap posthumously released the campaign to honor Boss on Monday (Jan. 30), who posed for the company’s collaboration with Haitian-owned menswear label The Brooklyn Circus.
“When Stephen and I first saw his images from the campaign, it brought tears to our eyes,” his wife, Allison Holker Boss, said in a press release from Gap. “He was so moved by how they captured his true essence, and he was excited for the world to see them.”
The Brooklyn Circus and Gap collaboration “explores the concepts of individuality, movement and modern prep — blending academia, music and Black culture and street style from the 1960s through today,” explains the press release.
Gap also announced it would support a mental health organization as a tribute to Boss’ life and legacy.
“In honor of Stephen, Gap is supporting The 988 Lifeline by donating to Vibrant Emotional Health,” said the press release. “Vibrant administers the 988 Lifeline, which provides free and confidential emotional support and counseling to people in crisis or emotional distress.”
