Report: 'Straight Outta Compton' Star Accused of Assaulting a Woman
Big trouble for one of the rising stars from Straight Outta Compton, who has been accused of attacking an 18-year-old girl in a Boston hotel room.
The actor is being accused of roughing up a woman at the Ritz Carlton hotel, with guests allegedly in earshot of the commotion. He has since been banned from the five-star establishment, though no arrests have been made as of yet. So, who's the one facing these accusations?
That would be Jason Mitchell, the breakout star who played Eazy-E in the film. According to TMZ, the alleged victim says Mitchell grabbed her arms, threw her to the ground by her hair, called her a b***h and then fled.
The incident went down in the wee hours of Monday morning. According to reports, the argument started when the young woman tried to crash a party in Mitchell's hotel room. When she was turned away, she got extremely upset and, according to several eyewitnesses, she attacked Mitchell first.
The rising star spoke to police but was not arrested, though he won't be able to stay at the Ritz again for the foreseeable future.
