Chris Brown's Surprise Baby Mama's Ex-Husband Speaks

Terry Avery steps into the drama with a warning for Breezy.

Chris Brown’s surprise baby story has another layer: an ex-husband.

Terry Amey, ex to Brown’s reported baby’s mother, Nia Guzman, spoke to TMZ about the paternity situation, and warned the singer to keep his anger at bay around the family.

Amey shares a 13-year-old daughter with Guzman, 31. Amey confirmed that they were separated, although still legally married (and possibly living together) when she conceived 9-month-old Royalty. He filed for divorce at the top of the year after finding out the child was not his. Amey, however, did not know that Breezy was the possible father until recently.

According to TMZ, Amey noted Brown’s past behavioral troubles, and threatened him to stay in line or face unspecified consequences.

Guzman has been speaking up, too. She clarified that she and Amey were estranged for several years, and married when she was a teenager. “i was 16 he lied about his age HE WAS MY FIRST LOVE I MARRIED HIM HE WAS 31 told me he was young af,” Guzman allegedly wrote on Instagram.

She also denied looking for a payday from Brown. “I NEED NO COME UP I GOT MY EDUCATION.” Guzman also chastised her ex for trying to "get put on" through her child.

Meanwhile, Brown is reportedly planning to take Guzman to court.
