Theophilus London Got Arrested in NYC, and Live Tweeted the Whole Thing
Theophilus London had one hell of a night last night (August 8).
As reported, the emcee was allegedly arrested for an altercation with a cab driver in New York City. For those following along with his antics, he candidly live-tweeted the entire experience.
According to his tweets, the incident escalated when the cab driver refused to give him change for a $100 bill. From there, the two argued and London allegedly smashed the driver’s cellphone, leading to his arrest.
While the situation could have been a lot worse, it did result in some pretty hilarious tweets from behind bars, including a farewell video to the police officers, whom he claims were “about to download [his] albums.”
