Lil Wayne Teases New Collaboration With Drake \r \r
Jay-Z and Kanye West may have the streets buzzing with Watch the Throne, but Lil Wayne is teasing a high-profile collaboration of his own.
The hip hop star appears in a new behind-the-scenes clip touting the unreleased song on his highly anticipated album Tha Carter IV. The song, "She Will," features a guest appearance from Wayne's Young Money protégé and a star in his own right, Drake.
In the clip, which comes courtesy of DJ Scoob Doo, Wayne plays some of his verses on the song for Drake via a Skype conference call.
"Some people hang you out to dry like a towel rack / I'm all about I, give the rest of the vowels back / I like my girl thick, not just kinda fine / Eat her till' she cry, call that whine and dine," he raps.
Drake, responding from an open laptop, was a supportive friend.
"That s---‘s crazy," he said. "I'm feelin' it."
Tha Carter IV is due August 29. Both Lil Wayne and Drake have openly discussed their interest in doing a full collaboration album together, but to date no plans have been formalized.
