Keyshia Cole Announces Album Title
Keyshia Cole's fifth solo album will be titled, Point of No Return, she revealed Wednesday (March 26) in response to a fan tweet.
Cole's hasn't dropped a studio album in almost two years, and writing and recording new material seems to have the singer feeling nostalgic lately. Besides Instagramming a bunch of throwback shots and song clips, she shared a message with fans. "Now I see why y'all miss me so much! I used to spit that s---," she wrote yesterday. "This is the first album I wrote pretty much myself Since ADFA (A Different me) and I freestyles all the ones I sung! Straight from the heart!"
The 32-year-old has undergone personal and professional changes over the years, namely a rocky relationship with husband Daniel Gibson and firing manager Manny Haley.
Cole and Haley have since reconnected, but the state of her relationship with Gibson might be a little sketchier -- so far, the Bay Area-born artist hasn't shared too many details about her situation with Gibson (she might be saving it for the album).
She did, however, release two full-length tracks seemingly inspired by personal events, "Rick James" and "Next Time [Won't Give My Heart Away].
Point of No Return promises to be a "sexier" side of Cole, and will be released this summer.
