The Best Man star Terrence Howard and his wife Miranda are expecting their first child together. Us Weekly reports that the actor, 45, was performing at a New Year's Eve party at AnQi in Orange County, California, when the announcement was made shortly after the clock struck 12.

An observer at the event told Us that Howard's wife was seen "rubbing her belly" from the crowd while he was on stage. Shortly after, the restaurant's owner, Elizabeth An, who is also a close friend of the couple, asked the musical guests to return to the stage when Howard held Miranda as An told the crowd, "Terrence and Mira are expecting their first baby!"

The couple got married in late 2013. This will mark Howard's fourth child. He has three from his previous and first marriage to Lori McCommas.
