The Basketball Wives drama is brewing off screen now that NBA player Chris Bosh is trying to block his baby's mama Allison Mathis from joining the cast. However, Shaunie O’Neil, who is the executive producer of the show, doesn't seem concerned.

When TMZ asked her thoughts about Bosh taking the show to court, she shrugged the whole matter off: “I don’t know why, because that girl’s not even on the show.  Maybe people like wasting money on lawsuits, I don’t know,” she added.

Bosh filed a lawsuit on May 2nd in Los Angeles federal court and seeks damages and an injunction to block Mathis and Shed Media—the parent company of the VH1 hit--- from trade mark infringement by using his name and disclosing private facts about his life according to the Associate Press.

"Though the reality television show is titled, 'Basketball Wives,' the featured women in the show are not the current wives of NBA players," the lawsuit says. "Instead, the show follows the lives of women who are dating or who dated NBA basketball players or who were formerly married to NBA players." It says the show, "provides these women with a vehicle and worldwide platform" to use the names of players without permission for commercial gain.
