Meek Mill Receives A New Bail Hearing
According to CBS Philly, Meek Mill’s two- to four-year sentencing has a new chance of being cut short by a long shot after reports have surfaced that Judge Genece E. Brinkley will allow a bail hearing on November 27.
The decision comes after his legal team filed a motion on behalf of his bail, which they are requesting for the Dreamchasers boss as his appeal is currently pending.
It also happens to be the first move and response from Brinkley since handing down the sentence to Meek — the same sentencing that revved up a full investigation on Brinkley and national backlash resulting in protests and demonstrations for Meek’s release.
After this development, it’s safe to say that Meek’s legal team has been hard at work in having the proper justice reinstated. Recently, they also filed a motion to have him removed from solitary confinement, a placement decision made by prison officials claiming the prioritization of his safety in keeping him separated from the general inmate population.
Let’s hope another W for the #FreeMeekMill clique is on the way sooner than later.
